JOB SUMMARY:

Seeking a Physician Assistant to join our growing Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) practice at Penn State Health.

PM&R is a medical specialty that employs a holistic approach to patient care in order to improve functional ability, quality of life, and overall health for patients with physical impairments or disabilities. The overall patient population may include (but is not limited to): stroke, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, amputation, multiple trauma, cardiopulmonary disease, cancer, and other neurologic, rheumatologic, and musculoskeletal conditions. Procedural experience not required, but any experience with the following would be preferred: joint injections/aspirations, baclofen pump management, Botox injections, and trigger point injections.

Prior PM&R, neurology, or orthopedic experience preferred, but not required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Graduate of an AMA approved Physician Assistant Program or baccalaureate or higher degree program that meets licensure requirements in the State of Pennsylvania required.
National Certification in Pennsylvania or in another State with reciprocity and licensure to practice in Pennsylvania required.
Relevant experience preferred.
